driver with bad driving record looking for a driving job..

i live in indiana just 30 min south of ft wayne.for the last 3 years my driving record is clean but prior to that i have a dui,refusal,driving while suspended,
i have had no accidents in my 9 years of driving..i specialize in hauling to new york city.or wherever im needed to run..but with my driving record its hard to find a job...anybody know of any companys that would take me??

i live in ky i had a wreck in 06 a pick up truck pulled off the shoulder of the road with no lights on i didnt have time to stop and i rear ended him no i cant fine no one to hire me could some one contact me at 606-387-0393 if anyone knows where i can fine a job ty.

I have 8 points on my driving record. speeding ticket in my car .I never got a ticket in a truck is there any company that will take me I just took a defensive driving course to remove 4 points

I currently have 2.5 points. I am a Good driver with a streak of bad luck, but I am dependable, never late and have good standings with all the clients I have delivered to. When I was 18 years old I was young and dumb. I got 3 duis and got caught with weed. That was the year 1999. Since than I chance completely. I got my drivers license back Nov 2006..Since than I got no points. I want to be a tractor trailer driver. It would totally fix my lifestyle right now. I really want to do this. I actually studing for my perment right now.. I just want to know if I'm able to get a job or if I'm wasting my time.

I have had minor accidents like my mirrors getting hit off but no damage done to the vehicle but that and a few preventables accidents that was not major. I also have a accident that is getting disputed about my truck breaking threw the curb in a bad area in chicago. I was wondering would i be able to drive again see that the accident was not really my fault because no damage was done to the truck and no citations was issued because of the officers said that was not my fault that the ground gave way.

i dunno felers but i didnt think i would ever find a job driving again..i have 3 moving violations and a couple of overweight tickets.. one of the moving violations is a excessive speed in a truck....the other is speed in a car...the other is illegal u turn....prety bad huh//....jb hunt was willing to hire me...not to mention my dac has an abandonment and an unauthorized truck return....but jb hunt was willing to hire me and get me home every weekend. might wanna check into it..at least till your drive record clears up

I have had my CDL's for 13 years and have five to six years driving in oklahoma & texas. I am having trouble finding a driving job because I got two dui's (1997 & 1999). If anyone is needing a dependable truck driver with zero points on my MVR, please send me an email.

So many companies don't believe in second chances.Why dont you try Decker.Theyre out of Fort Dodge Ia.I see theyll maybe hire with a reckless violationSafety has to approve it.So if they take reckless violation surely theyll hire you.I have a reckless violation on my dac.I just got hired today by a local company.Im really looking forward to it.I take my dot physical tomorrow.But anyways be4 I got this job I went to deckers website and thats what it says under qualifacations that that may hire reckless driving violation.Reason i didnt take it is because they dont have a pet policy.I think ill like this local company much better because ill be home every weekend.Take care and good luck patty

Did you ever find a job?I know exactly what youre going thru,I have A reckless violation on my mvr but the thing is I wasnt even in my trk when the officer issued me the ticket.I was parked between 2 no parking signs in a lot next to mcdonaldsI figured he wiuld issue me a no parking ticket so I didnt bother looking at the ticket.i have applied to many companies and noone will hire me because of that.But I finally got a job I start this mon Ill be home every weekend.Big well known companies like schneider, prime ect wont hire u.they go strictly by the rules.But a local company chances getting hired are much greater. They dont believe everything that is on the dac and mvr.Last 2 companies ive worked is local and my reckless violation didnt affect getting hired.So with your exp why dont u look for a local otr company? Have you applied to many companies? Youre mvr doesnt sound that bad..Heck there are many drivers with alot worse record then yours.Keep on looking youll find a job.Every company out there needs drivers.www.layover.com has a forum u can posts as well.Youll get many replies.Most those drivers are very exp drivers.Try finding a local otr company.Thats how I got my job.No company here online wont even consider me because I have a reckless violation and I wasnt even in my trk when the officer issued me the ticket its a long story .ive told it a thousand times.Anyways if you havent found a job good luck and try a local trucking company.

If anyone nows were i can get a job,please help.
