NEED JOB DRIVING COAST TO COAST

I HAVE 44 MONTHS DRIVING EXPERIENCE AND NEED A JOB, I'VE BEEN OFF THE ROAD FOR 1 MONTH BECAUSE MY BOSS SOLD HIS TRUCK AND TRAILER. I DROVE ABOUT 40 OF THE 48 STATES WEST TO EAST, SOUTH TO NORTH. I'VE DROVE IN WINTER CONDITIONS, MOUNTAINS, CITY, AND DON'T MIND BEING OUT AS LONG AS THE PAY IS RIGHT. I am an exp otr driver, having driven in all weather conditions and terrains,but due to being involved in an accident in Oct of 2007,I am experiencing difficulty in finding a driving position anywhere. It seems that even though most of the major companies out there claim that a driver can have as many as 3-5 accidents within a certain time frame, that I am still being denied due to this accident. With it being nearly a year old, and no injuries involved I am hoping that someone out there can offer up a suggestion that I might persue to change this?
