Looking for a job

I`m a 51 yr old man, looking for a job. I just received my class A,but have been unable to get a job because of my record, I was covicted of fraud and sentenced to federal prison. I`m currently working closely with Pa career link as well as the Pa dept of vocational rehab who sent me to school for my class A.And have had little luck so far.Anyone willing to take a chance and hire a good employee, would also receive numerous tax breaks etc for hiring me. Anyone with some guidence or insight into this problem your helpful comments would greatly be appreciated. Lee

It's going to be very difficult for you --especially for fraud, You're asking a company to hire you to move frieght with theft on your record.

While it's going to be difficult, you may want to try smaller local companies, that haul concrete, dirt, excavation, etc.

They may take a chance on you, which, in return will look good on you if you decide to take an OTR position with a larger carrier. I really see this as your only option due to freight being slow right now with the economy.
