I've driven for several companies and I've written a book that I haven't been able to get published yet. It's a little over 120 pages and available on-line at my e-mail address for $10.

I'm not sure I want to go through the trouble to get a truck driver job at this time. I have a job I like so I am contented.
Thanks, Robert amundrud

OH, the book is about many of my experiences as a truck driver. In some ways it is quite humerous because of the great number of goof ups I put myself through. It also can be instuctional in many ways of what not to do.

I'm unaware ofwhere and how I go about getting this book published. Everything I've tried comes up with a large price tag that I can't afford and don't feel is necessary. If you know something that can direct me in the right path, please advise me.
Thanks, Robert Amundrud

Tiger in Shenzhen, China said: the note(BOOK) like what you had written would be free published and it is a dream to ask somebody else to pay you for reading .your relevant experiences seems valueless to me !

I'm at a loss as to how to get my book published without cost, and at this time, I don't have the money to pay for it being published. Here's a brief excerpt.
Before I became a truck driver, I had really never thought of the immensity of the job and of the number of duties of a driver; in fact, many of the things a driver is expected and even required to do are unpaid tasks since a driver’s pay comes mainly from miles driven plus nothing except for extra pay for extra pickups or drops on individual loads and other guarantees for time lost due to no fault of the driver.
Where does one begin describing the experiences, the trials, and the tribulations of the driver or drivers of these monsters of the road which we variously know as semis, eighteen-wheelers, or even tractor trailers? A good starting point might be to remind ourselves that without these mechanical beasts of burden which roam our highways and by-ways every hour of the day and night, we would all lead quite meager lives, since everything we eat, wear, entertain ourselves with, and transport ourselves by is at some point or even many points delivered by a truck. You name it, and a truck delivered it either in part or in whole to the store from which you bought it, to the distribution center from which the store order it, and to the factory or farm which produced it. But who are these drivers that we pass everyday on a multitude of highways across this great land of ours?

Hello Robert,

Thanks for visiting the Indeed forums! I'm glad to hear that you have a job you are happy with, but I have to say these forums might not be the best place to find advice on how to get your book published.

I did a quick search on "how to get a book published" and this was one of the first results.
www.publaw.com/book.html

Good luck and please visit the forums again if you want to discuss your driving experiences with other drivers.

Sincerely,

Indeed Admin
