Hi, my name is Miriam and I'm looking for someone to make a wedding dress for my sister. As maid of honor, I'm helping plan a great deal and I thought I'd get a head start on this score. She is interested in a designer gown, however we'd like to find a seamstress (preferably in Kansas) who can help recreate and possibly make a few alterations to the original design. Thank you so much for your help.

Hi,
I could make your dress. I have many years of sewing experience and can copy designs.

Could I get some more information please? Perhaps see some samples of your work? Learn more about what sort of work you have done before?

The dresses we are looking at are from the designer San Patrick. The Website is www.sanpatrick.com/

The styles we are interested it are The Bangor Style (Number seven of the Duchesse Collection) and the Barbados Style (Number ten of the Duchesse Collection). Please tell me what you think.

I live in the Kansas City metro area. I have an ebay store: So Creative. You can look at my store and see that I have a 100% feedback rating. The stuff in my store is not as complex as a wedding dress because that sort of thing is too labor intensive for that venue.
Thank you,
Anna

I found an out of print vogue pattern v2134 which has a very similar top and could be combined with another pattern to get the skirt.

Hi Anna - My daughter has a lovely little dress w/jacket from 50's? i think and the fabric is begining to disinegrate. The dress is short sleeved with a sweetheart neckline, back zipper and belt. The matching jacket has 3/4 cuffed sleeves and a complimentary neckline. I'm looking for someone who could possibly copy the pattern (with a few minor adjustments) and replicate this ensemble for us. Let me know what you think. I could send you pics for an estimate or we could bring it in for you to look at. Thanks for your consideration. pam r.
