What are the top 3 traits or skills every satellite installer must have to excel? Can you suggest any tips or insights to develop your satellite installer expertise? |

Think ahead..allways carry the bag..ie cripper cutters spinner razor flat and phillips..w/lots of w.ties conectors barrels tape ect then take full trips from and to the truck as theres allways somthing you need or are done with to then put away. Last but never least.. Be a friend to your customer, f*#? dish direct or whomever might you be putting in..my people come first and I do right by them even and just as often ill need to fight for there deal let alone the system promised oh its there house..so remember as your invited in to respect them as your own home.. thats what makes this job the best..as you the Man.. can I fix that? whats the problem? here ill show you how..what about this? there you go..dont let it..and any questions? |

If you dont have time to do it right the first time, you must have time to it right the second time??? |

The top three skills I think are crucial to be a successful installer are puctuality, honesty, and reliability. Be on time every time. Don't lie or try to overcharge for extra items and or services. Do the job right the first time, even if it takes more time. This is very important because this will prevent any potential future revisits that could possibly cost you time and money. |
